The world the Event Group inhabits is one full mystery and intrigue and the book does a very good job of expanding on that With that said, knowing some of the problems Mr. Golemon was facing over the last year, I can overlook the negative points. This is the first that missed the mark. It seemed that the author was trying to tie up too many loose ends and throw in the new element if witches. Sadly, it was way too rushed and many interesting characters were underdeveloped and tossed aside to rush to the finish. I really hope this isn't the end of the series and that the author gets back to form with the follow up. Adding insult to injury, the Kindle version of the book was very poorly edited with lots and lots of typos and wrong words.

There is only one reason I gave it 2 stars The horrible editing made it a very hard read. Spelling errors, very simple spelling errors were on every page. If someone - say an editor that's getting paid to do their job - would have even glanced at the book, a lot of these could have been fixed before it was available to the public. I'm hoping they release a better copy so the next readers can truly enjoy the book th I truly enjoyed the story.

I, for one, am a little disappointed that I paid for this one. Oct 01, Jackie rated it it was amazing. I absolutely love The Event Group. This book really put me on an emotional roller coaster. I was excited when old friends returned but devastated with other revelations. The history of this conflict was enthralling and made it difficult to put down.

Honestly, it's as if it was translated by someone who doesn't speak English. But the syntax is wild, the grammar is just wrong.
But other than that, it was a very good story Golemon is a very good story teller, and this is one of my favorites.

Main is not a state! Lots of words that sound alike but are spelled differently used incorrectly! There is no sign of damage other than accidental crash related destruction. In other words, sir, it was not shot down. The chance of finding viable genetic material and more advanced technology in its interior has risen to acceptable odds. The technology retrieved would far surpass that of the American discovery of the Mars built battleships near Shackleton Crater three years ago.
