All of their responses were prompt and courteous. The new device and app have worked fine on the first two uses, however, I must say that the app could still use some tweaking. The original iGrill app gave you a choice of alarms, which was handy as you could pick one that might be easier to hear in a noisy environment.
I find the current chirping alarm with no other options to be a little annoying. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the target temp on the fly instead of having to start over, if you decide that you or a guest would like their food a little more done. I have been using this product for years. Ever since Weber bought the product line and started updating the app, things have gotten progressively worse.
I have 3 Weber grills which I dearly love, but these jokers should stay out of the app developing business. All of the complaints in the review section are absolutely valid. No more custom presets, clunky gimmicky UI, non-intuitive navigation This is an easy fix, we will see if they are too proud to admit they screwed the pooch and just release the old version. Until then, I'm shelving this now useless tool in favor of my old wired probe thermometer.
Update: I still hate this app. I guarantee that NONE of your developers use this. The people who use this are actual cooks! When you are ready for some suggestions let me know. I stopped using this stupid thing loooong ago. Thanks so much for your feedback and more importantly for being a Weber fan!
